Make a Life-Changing Impact
Just a few hours of your time each month can profoundly change the life of a child in foster care. As a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer, you will provide consistency, stability, and a trusted voice for children facing some of the most challenging times in their lives.
With over 3,000 children in Clark County’s foster care system and only 500 CASA volunteers, we need your help to bridge this gap and create brighter futures.
What Does a CASA Volunteer Do?
CASA volunteers advocate for the best interests of a child by:
- Meeting with the child at least once a month.
- Communicating with case professionals, parents, teachers, and service providers.
- Offering consistent, compassionate support.
Being a CASA volunteer is not the same as being a foster parent - it’s a lower-commitment way to make a profound impact with a minimum of 2 hours per month of face-to-face time.
